People living in northeast Calgary celebrated the opening of a new skate park near the Genesis Centre on Saturday. As Carolyn Kury de Castillo reports, the councillor for the area says the northeast is still lacking when it comes to recreation and is calling on the city to continue to funding recreation as a way to prevent rising crime.
