Northumberland OPP are investigating after a load of shingles was found in a farmer’s field just east of Cobourg on Monday morning.
Allan Carruthers said a friend contacted him after seeing a vehicle coming out of a driveway that led to Carruthers’ soy bean field on Brookside Road.
It’s reported the car was a silver four-door pickup which was pulling a black tandem axle trailer. Anyone with information is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
