Parking versus housing: Toronto’s mayor voices concern over proposed parking lot

There are growing concerns about a piece of land near Eglinton Avenue West and Caledonia Road. It is slated to become a parking lot. And now Toronto’s mayor says it isn’t the best use of the space, hoping instead to see it become a plot for affordable housing. As Jamie Mauracher reports, the Toronto Parking Authority is now reviewing the proposal.
