Toronto heritage up in flames: former Peacock Hotel burns

A building whose heritage shares ties with William Lyon Mackenzie’s 1837 rebellion has gone up in flames. The third iteration of the former Peacock Hotel caught fire early Thursday morning in Toronto’s west end. Matthew Bingley has more on the building’s legacy.
