A woman was taken to hospital in Peterborough after the Jeep she was driving veered off Lansdowne Street and struck a hydro pole near The Parkway.
Oil was leaking from a transformer on the downed pole, prompting a call to the Ministry of the Environment to assist.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
