Former cabinet minister Philpott rose in the House of Commons on Tuesday on a question of privilege, saying that MPs can’t be expelled of their party groups without a recorded vote and Trudeau ejected her and Jody Wilson-Raybould from liberal caucus on his own, violating their privileges. Philpott ended with a call to action for an urgent solution to the matter.
