David Goyette is taking over from Megan Murphy who just wrapped her role for the 2018-2019 campaign.
The torch was passed at a ceremony this morning.
In an unusual move, Goyette offered himself for the job to CEO Jim Russell. Goyete is no stranger to community volunteerism, having served on 20 local organizations.
Goyette says he has a good idea of what his focus should be.
