Wernick quits as Privy Council clerk on same day Trudeau shuffles cabinet

Canada’s top civil servant, Privy Council clerk Michael Wernick, is retiring after coming under fire over the SNC-Lavalin affair. It happened the same day Prime Minister Justin Trudeau shuffled his cabinet again. As David Akin explains, Trudeau has recruited former Edmonton MP Anne McLellan to head an examination into questions raised from the controversial case.
