Halifax trial to remove Indigenous land defenders from Alton Gas project begins

Proceeding have begun in a bid to remove land defenders from the site of a pending natural gas project near Stewiacke, N.S. Alton Gas says the defenders are trespassing and blocking access to infrastructure they need to repair. The company’s case for an injunction was heard in court on Tuesday.
