Violent incident at Kelowna coffee shop highlights safety concerns in the city’s downtown

Late mornings are typically the time for a mid-morning coffee break for many. But customers enjoying their java at a downtown Kelowna coffee shop Thursday were stunned and terrified when a man suddenly became violent. He smashed a window sending shards of glass flying inside the coffee shop. The shocking incident was caught on surveillance video. As Klaudia Van Emmerik reports, the ordeal is once again highlighting safety concerns in the city’s downtown.
