In 1998, Global Halifax did a feature on then 14-year-old Daon Glasgow, the man who was arrested Sunday morning in the shooting of a transit officer in Surrey. Glasgow is described as a promising athlete and he was about to head off to the World Junior Olympics in Mexico. He had just finished Grade 7 at the time.
