Trucker fined after near head-on collision along Trans-Canada Highway in B.C.

A semi driver was recently charged and fined after making a dangerous pass along the Trans-Canada Highway near Salmon Arm almost two years ago. The semi tried passing another semi, but couldn’t complete the maneuver before the passing lane ended and went into the oncoming lane. An oncoming motorist with dashcam video had to veer onto the side of the highway to avoid a head-on collision.
