Body discovered in wooded area north of the downtown, police say it’s not suspicious

A body was discovered early Saturday afternoon in a wooded area just north of McDonnel Street behind the TVM Manor apartment buildings at near the corner of Stewart Street.

Peterborough police were called to the scene around 12:30 p.m. where they discovered the dead body of an unidentified individual lying on the ground along a steep hill in the tree-covered area.
