Kelowna city staff are recommending council not approve plans for a major housing development on Diamond Mountain in the Glenmore area because of its proximity to the landfill

It’s a massive development proposal that the proponent says will go a long way towards solving Kelowna’s affordable housing problem: hundreds of homes of all sizes in north Glenmore. But city planners are against it saying the location will give ‘ them’ nothing but headaches.
