U.S. government shutdown continues into day 2 as people express anger over closures

The first day of the U.S. government shutdown ended without any deal and the next vote won’t take place until early Monday morning, but without anything on immigration which has caused the impasse. Meanwhile, the public is expressing anger as various closures impact the country, including monuments like the Statue of Liberty.
