Crown seeking 10 years for accused in Kelowna crash that caused life altering brain damage in victim

A Kelowna man that struck a paper carrier while fleeing from police in December of 2013 is being sentenced. The paper carrier, Steve Kania, who was 41-years-old at the time suffered permanent and life altering brain damage. The crown is seeking a 10 year sentence. The defense is asking that Donald Brodie spend three or four years in prison.
