A murder trial got underway Monday at the Kelowna law courts. A man is charged with second-degree murder in the slaying of his room-mate in the summer of 2015. At the outset of the trial, the jury heard DNA evidence will connect the accused to the killing. It’s further alleged Daniel Garth Ruff confessed to the crime.
