It has raised more than $700 million dollars towards cancer research, all thanks to a young man who many people call a true Canadian hero. Terry Fox’s “Marathon of Hope’ took place almost four decades ago but his legacy lives on. Millions of people around the world gather every year to continue what Terry Fox began, the mission to raise money to one day find a cure for cancer. And this weekend, that will once again happen in Kelowna. Klaudia Van Emmerik reports.
