The opioid crisis affects communities right across the country but nowhere is the situation as critical as it is here in Western Canada and a new report confirms that. The Canadian Institute for Health information says that the rate of opioid-related hospitalizations in B.C. is among the highest in the country with Kelowna topping the list.
