Ferry gets stuck in ice off the coast of Nova Scotia

A Canadian ferry carrying more than 200 passengers became trapped in thick ice off the coast of Nova Scotia on April 4. The MV Highlanders was freed with the help of its Marine Atlantic MV Blue Puttees, which helped cut a path through the ice for the stranded ship. These videos show the two vessels trying to break through the ice. The videos were filmed from the MV Blue Puttees.
