It’s a homeless shelter for women but the arrival of one client at the Kelowna facility has some of the people staying there upset. A few days ago, a transgender person, a man transitioning to become a woman, moved into the shelter. As Klaudia Van Emmerik reports, it’s raising questions whether the transgender individual should be allowed at a women only shelter.
