The sister of the man shot by police in Salmon Arm is speaking publicly. She believes RCMP went too far when they fired at her brother leaving him with serious injuries. Police say they were responding to a reported theft and shots were fired when the man tried to escape arrest. But the wounded man’s family says the 22-year-old was unarmed and the shooting was unnecessary.
