A jeep drove off road near Toronto’s Cherry Beach and became stranded on frozen Lake Ontario on Monday, January 10. The Toronto Police Service (TPS) tweeted that the driver did not realize the snow they were driving onto was covering a frozen lake. The Toronto Police Marine Unit and 51 Division were called in to tow the jeep to safety.
