Interior Health announces one of two proposed overdose prevention sites in Kelowna will not open.

It is the Government’s response to the opioid crisis in this province, overdose prevention sites. Earlier this week, Interior Health announced that two such facilities would open in Kelowna. This in an effort to help reduce the number of people dying. The overdose sites were supposed to open today but one of them never opened its doors as planned because nearby businesses protested. Klaudia Van Emmerik reports.
