They are popular cold weather activities in our region, heading out onto frozen lakes for fishing, skating and hockey. But despite double digit below zero temperatures, the ice remains precarious.
So much so, an experienced fisherman fell through the ice into Swan lake on Wednesday and is now sharing his story to warn other to be very cautious.. Klaudia van emmerik has more.
