No closures for Silver Creek, Armstrong schools

Increased enrolment and additional funding from the B.C. Ministry of Education have helped keep two North Okanagan-Shuswap schools open.

Silver Creek and Armstrong elementary schools will not be closed following a decision at a meeting with official trustee Mike McKay Tuesday in Salmon Arm.

Parents, students and teachers are happy with the news.
