Firefighters working in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside say their calls have doubled in the last year and they can’t keep up with the fentanyl crisis. Last month, they responded to more than 1200 and 50 incidents. Dustin Bourdeaudhuy, the Vice-President of Vancouver Fire Fighters’ Union Local 18, spoke to us today about their plea for help.
