It’s an illness that can have devastating consequences. Now we’re learning that a high-school student in Kelowna has fallen ill with meningitis. While the risk of transmission is low in this case, parents throughout the Central Okanagan are being warned so they know what to do to protect their children. Klaudia Van Emmerik reports.
