Officials gathered at Okanagan College on Monday to announce a new trades training centre in Vernon. The new building will allow Okanagan College’s trades training programs in the north Okanagan city to move out of a leased space at the Vernon airport and into a purpose built facility on campus. The new building is also expected to give the school the opportunity to expand the types of trades training programs it offers in Vernon.
