Dougall Media’s Thunder Bay Electronics VP and GM Don Caron explained, during a CRTC hearing on local TV, that two stations operated in Thunder Bay may shutdown because they no longer have money to keep them open. The stations have been surviving on the former owner’s life insurance policy, but without an injection of funds from the government the stations will likely have to close.
