Erika Kirk, the widow of slain conservative activist Charlie Kirk, delivered her first public remarks on Friday. She described her husband as a man who “laid down his life for our nation” and warned those responsible that “the movement will not die.” Kirk also recounted telling the couple’s three-year-old daughter of her father’s death and expressed gratitude to U.S. President Donald Trump, Vice-President J.D. Vance and law enforcement. The 31-year-old right-wing figure was shot dead at a Utah university campus event on Wednesday, sparking condemnation of political violence across the U.S.
