Ontario judge grants injunction to pause removal of Toronto bike lanes

An Ontario judge has hit pause on the province’s plans to remove major Toronto bike lanes, until a decision is made. Advocacy group, Cycle Toronto, requested the injunction to protect bike lanes on Bloor Street, Yonge Street, and University Ave, which were set to be removed under a new bill passed last year by the Ford Government. For cycling advocates, it’s good news. Lexy Benedict reports.
