Retired teacher and now realtor Shirley Turner is the United Way Peterborough and District’s 2024 community campaign chairperson.
The United Way made the announcement on Wednesday, praising Turner’s long-time support of the United Way, including serving as a board member last year.
Turner says that experience really showed her the impact the agency makes in Peterborough and Peterborough County.
