Jefferson County attorney Mike O’Connell announced Wednesday that all charges against PGA star Scott Scheffler have been dropped. He said Scheffler calling the incident a “big misunderstanding” is “corroborated by evidence.“ Scheffler, a Masters champion and the world’s No. 1 golfer, was arrested last Friday while on the way to the PGA Championship in Maryland, after he failed to follow police orders during an investigation into a pedestrian fatality.
