After being denied a spot in a care home, a Kelowna senior with ALS or Lou Gehrig’s disease is desperate for proper care as she lives out the rest of her life. As Victoria Femia reports she’s being told her equipment is the problem, and that staff are not properly trained to use it – forcing her to stay at her home where she’s becoming a danger to herself.
