A Nigerian family who says they are fleeing religious persecution is pleading to stay in Canada amid imminent deportation after entering as asylum-seekers via the now-shuttered Roxham Road. The mother of the family says she sees the deportation order from federal immigration officials as a death sentence for her family, which now includes two more children who were born in Canada.
