Northumberland OPP say three people died and two others were injured following a collision on County Road 45 north of Cobourg late on March 28.
The collision occurred around 11:30 p.m. near Beagle Club Road, about 15 kilometres north of Cobourg in Alnwick-Halidmand Township.
OPP say both drivers and a passenger died in the collision. Two other passengers in the vehicles were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The collision remains under investigation.
