The Canadian government confirmed Thursday it ordered a national security review of popular video app, TikTok, in September 2023. Though while speaking in Windsor, Ont., Prime Minister Justin Trudeau avoided providing further details into the review, saying he cannot comment on national security reviews. He added Canada is monitoring the U.S.’s debate on the app.
