Peterborough Police are trying to figure out what led a car to come off the back of a tow truck Friday afternoon in the east end of the city.
Emergency crews were called to the area of Parkhill Road and Leahey’s Lane around 3 p.m. following reports the car came off the truck, striking the pole and the tow truck operator.
Paramedics treated one man at the scene before taking him to hospital for further treatment.
Neighbours tell Global NewsPeterborough they heard a loud bang and saw the car off of the truck.
Glass from the back window of the car could be seen smashed over a driveway.
It is unclear if any charges will be laid.
