No jail time for Alberta man who dismembered slain Beaumont mother Treasa Oberly

DISTURBING DETAILS: Tears and anger inside an Edmonton courtroom as a man who pleaded guilty to dismembering the body of a Beaumont mother learned his fate. Joseph Donald Skelly, 69, received a two-year conditional sentence and not serve any time behind bar for causing an indignity to the body of his grandchild’s mother, Treasa Lynn Oberly, who his son is accused of killing in July 2023.
