A new non-enforcement unit has been set up in Elsipogtog First Nation to assist with crisis intervention, search and rescue, and other community matters. It brings an Indigenous-led and culturally-informed approach to community intervention for the Mi’kmaq population. Suzanne Lapointe reports.
