The Peterborough Regional Health Centre has named its atrium the Anne Keenleyside & Family Atrium following a $2-million legacy gift to the hospital foundation from Dr. Keenleyside’s estate.

The funds will support cancer care supports and equipment at the hospital, per the longtime Trent University professor’s bequest. She died in October 2022 after a long battle with cancer.
