Flooding on Sumas Prairie has farmers asking for new protection

Flooding on Sunday in Abbotsford has farmers demanding new protections from rising waters. A flood warning was issued early in the afternoon for the Sumas River, as the Nooksack River across the border started to burst its banks. Though conditions are not as bad, you’ll recall those two rivers played a large role in the 2021 floods in the Fraser Valley. Angela Jung reports.
