Today marks a macabre milestone in the conflict between Israel and Hamas. It has been 100 days of constant death and destruction resulting in bloodshed and has bled into a global sense of heartache. Global News’ Chief Political Correspondent David Akin has the latest on the conflict. Here in Toronto, hundreds gathered for a vigil at Nathan’s Phillip Square. Near Avenue Road there was a large police presence for a second day to remind people they are not allowed to protest on the overpass near Hwy 401.
