Deal reached to transform Port Alberni waterfront

City leaders in Port Alberni, B.C., have selected a Texas-based developer to transform a piece of the city’s industrial past into an urban oasis on the waterfront. Plans call for a development mixing commercial and residential spaces on the site of the former Somass Sawmill. Kylie Stanton reports.
