Six years after a violent arrest involving a Calgary woman, the police officer responsible has been fired. A disciplinary hearing Thursday found Alex Dunn guilty on two counts of discreditable conduct under Alberta’s police act. As Jill Croteau reports, the victim’s family is relieved he will be off the force.
