250K Canadians have opened a first home savings account, Freeland says

Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland announced Tuesday that the number of Canadians who have opened a tax-free first home savings account has risen to 250,000 people. That’s up from just over 150,000 accounts as of Oct. 5.
