Manufactured by Biogen, the drug has been approved for use in the United States since late 2023 and is also authorized in the U.K. and the European Union. 

The Food and Drug Administration on Friday granted approval of the drug, Zurzuvae, for adults experiencing severe depression related to childbirth or pregnancy.
