More than four dozen people signed up to speak Wednesday about a proposed public spaces bylaw which would have widespread effects on several parts of Edmonton.

The city is asking for input from citizens prior to replacing three existing bylaws with one governing appropriate behaviour in public spaces including transit, malls and parks.
