Jolene Van Alstine who suffers from parathyroid hyperplasia is waiting for a third operation and doctors told her without treatment, her illness could be terminal.

Jolene Van Alstine has been living with her diagnosis for six years. She has experienced abdominal pain, low blood pressure, frequent bone fractures, anxiety and depression.
